I'm Whitney Drebot, a lover of all things bookish + design.
I specialize in custom, beautiful book covers and interior book layouts that bring stories to life.
Before I ever started designing books, I was already living at the intersection of art and telling love stories. My background is in wedding photography, where I first discovered my love for visual storytelling (especially love stories).
Somewhere along the way, my love for reading and my love for storytelling collided with my passion for design, and book design became the obvious answer.
I specialize in creating book covers and interiors that not only look beautiful but also belong to their stories. Covers that understand their genre. Pages that invite readers to stay awhile. Design that supports the words instead of competing with them.
When I'm not designing, you'll usually find me reading (no surprise there), or talking about books! Talking about books is my love language, so feel free to follow my bookish Instagram account and Goodreads and chat with me about all your favorite reads!
Outside of books
Outside of the book world, I am most importantly a mother to my two cute boys and a wife to my incredibly supportive husband, Josh. I couldn't do this work without them.
Me + the LOML
I recently returned school to finish Bachelor's degree in Art + Design from Utah Valley University, where I have primarily studied photography and graphic design, and also accidentally minored in Art History. (I know... who accidentally gets an art history minor? I did apparently lol). Going back to school as a mom of two was not an easy decision, but a journey that has been so rewarding! I will finish after Summer semester of this year!
I also have a passion for running (I'm the world's slowest runner, but I love it) and dance fitness classes. I love traveling with my husband and spending time with family + friends.
